There is only one J&J Fitness Bootcamp Co.  Our Springfield Boot Camp Fitness Program's are based on a combination of strength and cardiovascular exercises.  Drill instructors keep things lively by integrating push-ups,
pull-ups, squats and other strength builders with running, sprinting drills and plyometrics designed to increase speed and build cardiovascular endurance.

Our instructors will push you but they won't tear you down.  We want you to succeed. J&J Fitness Bootcamp Co. is a very positive and motivating environment.  We won't let you down so don't let yourself down.

The J&J Fitness Bootcamp Basic Training Program allows you to make a commitment to a fitter lifestyle.

WHAT IS J&J BOOTCAMP?

J&J Fitness Bootcamp Basic Training meets Monday, Wednesday & Friday @ 6:00 a.m.,  Monday & Wednesday @ 6:00 p.m. and occasionally on Saturday morning.  Workouts are for 45-minutes and generally consist of running drills and calisthenics done in a different format each day.  You'll do hill workouts, intervals, plyometrics, team drills and much more.  

At the start of the program you will perform a fitness test to create a frame of reference, or starting point so to speak.  You'll be assessed on the number of push-ups you can perform in one minute, the number of sit-ups in one minute, and then a timed mile walk/run.  You will perform this also at the end of each 8-week cycle to chart your progress.  

The Drill Instructors will challenge you to do your best each and every day.  They may get a little loud but not to tear you down.  They'll be positive, motivating, and encouraging.  There will be times that you'll curse your D.I. during the workouts but not when you experience the results.

"What does it cost?"

Only $15/session.  Punch cards can be purchased for $150 (10 classes).

"How long is each daily workout?"

Each workout lasts for 45 minutes.  It starts with a warm-up jog and finishes with a cool down stretch.

"Do I have to be in shape to join?"

NO! The point of our program is to GET you in shape. There are really only two basic fitness requirements we have: (1) we ask that your physician approves of you participating in our program, and (2) because our program involves some running just about every day, we need you to be able to complete a mile in some combination of running and walking.

If you are not able to finish a mile, we recommend that you work with one of our trainers one-on-one to get you past that hurdle and be ready to join the troops.

Remember that we are not comparing you to anyone else--we are here to make sure you are fulfilling YOUR
potential and doing YOUR best. Every day that you wait to sign up because you want to “get in better shape first” is another day wasted that could have been spent in Basic Training--getting yourself in the best shape of your life!

"Why should I pay good money just to get abused and called names by your drill instructors?"

You shouldn't! Our program is not like that. Our trainers are positive and encouraging motivators, not cowardly
name-callers. Sure, we play the part of drill instructors by raising our voices a bit and pushing you to do your very best, but you will only experience the most professional attitude from our staff of top-notch drill instructors. Now if you're the type who WANTS to be yelled at, let us know and we can arrange something special for you!

"I am a very self-motivated person, so why should I pay you to make sure I work out every day when I already do?"

You may work out every day, but do you get the most out of your workout? Our program will help those who need motivation to work out regularly, but it will also provide someone like you, who already has the discipline to exercise on a regular basis, with that extra boost to get you faster, stronger, and fitter than ever before.

Take sprint drills for example. You know if you've ever tried to do sprints on your own that they are (a) no fun, and (b) hard to make yourself go faster than the last time you did them. Even if you are the solo runner type, you will appreciate having other runners to compete against AND our drill instructors there to motivate YOU to move your body faster than ever before!! That's just one example, but you get the idea. Bottom line, we think you'll love our program and we KNOW you'll see results.
